Default power front seat, loose wire

I'm trying to troubleshoot an intermittently failing drivers side power seat. I *think* it only fails at a certain point when moving back, and if I push back the seat manually at the same time, it will kind of "work" through it. It sounds pretty rough when I do that though and I can hear the motor cut in and out. I got the front bolts off and did notice a loose wire. There is a metal clip that is not clipped anywhere. Can anyone tell me where this metal clip attaches?
