It's hard to get back there with a camera.....
this is on the driver side of my car.

pic 1 - tranny mount covered with oil that (i think) dripped down. i include it because it's nearly directly under the leak (which I think is the power steering rack).

pic 2 - this is the power steering rack - as you could see, there is fluid on it. (just outside of the picture is the koyo emblem)

I guess my confusion is as follows - the fluid leaking is a thicker/yellowish fluid rather than the green synthetic fluid that is in the power steering fluid reservoir .....

It leaked very fast and a lot of fluid at first but now that it's on jacks, I can't get it to leak very fast....

Is there different fluid there than power steering fluid and do I need to replace my power steering rack or is the problem something else?
