problem with headlights help!!!

I kwow a lot of people have had problems with the headlights.
But I believe this might be different.
My Headlights stopped working one day.
You know, the same old bright (flashers), running lights, and dash lights still work, same thing with everyone else. So I figured it would be the headlight switch. So i bought a new one and replaced it, still didnt fix the problem!!!
so then i researched some more. Found out that there was a recall on the ignition because it caused problems with the lights. So I went to the dealership and got it replaced. Still did not fix the problem. Now I have no idea where to go from here..... Someone please help!

obvious spammer is obvious

OP, forgive me for asking, but I assume you've checked all related fuses by now right? Where'd you get your replacement switch from? Sounds like its time to start poking around with a voltmeter :o

yeah first thing i did was I pulled out my extra fuses and opened the fusebox, had no clue at that point my problem was going to be this bad.
Also, someone said on European cars, its not uncommon for both lights to go out at the same time, so i checked the bulbs. full connection all the way through and shook them but no parts rattling around. idk what to do now
