Project audi: part 3
Well guys i made the leap yesterday and bought my first avant. I am VERY sad to see my car go, and even more sad to see it go to someone who isnt an enthusiast, but moneys money and who can turn down an offer of $7200 cash for a 14 year old car lol.
Anyways I bought this avant from a local audi enthusiast... He made a feeler post seeing if there was any interest and i immediately starting writing up a craigslist ad for my car lol... I have ALWAYS loved this car, and the ride he gave me last year was amazing so i have been hooked since then.
This car has pretty much everything done to it that it can....
Engine/Drivetrain:
Scat rods
JE pistons w/ swaintech gold coat
AEB head with high rate valve springs/Ti retainers, 5 angle valve job (built to handle 8500 rpm)... current rev limit is set at 8k to be safe
Soutbend STG 4 clutch / LWFW (honestly like this a lot more than my clutchmasters setup)
Garrett GT2871R turbo
034 tubular mani (non cracking version
)
Tial 38mm external wastegate
Racetech FMIC w/ swaintec's heat dissipative coating
3" turbo-back exhaust
034 IIc engine management dyno tuned by Javad from 034

Here are a couple more pics i took today. i knowwww shes dirty (in more than one way ), but i gave her a wash yesterday lol, thats one thing about living in MN that sucks...
