Where the heck does the mass air flow sensor plug into?

There should be a black adapter that attaches to the end of the MAF. That adapter is what you clamp your filter on to.

Really? I used the same kit last night, I just crammed the flanged end of the MAF into the filter, its a squeeze, but it works well! love the sound...
