why is it that some say pnp'in an ex mani is great and others worthless? are there facts to back either one? i know pnp'in will make the walls thinner and more prone to crack if done incorrectly but if done correctly by an automotive machining shop, wouldnt i benefit? Or by worthless you mean its not worth the money to pnp the mani? i think its the latter right? if thats true, and its not really worth it, i wont do it.

The manifold and turbine both flow like crap, increasing one wont do much for the other. If you spend the money you may see all of a few hp/tq gains. Not worth the time or money.

The outlet flanges determine the flow capacity; unfortunately, the ones that the smaller-frame turbos have are half-assed, and the upgrades that are more suited for larger-framed turbos (like a real exhaust manifold!) won't give you much of a noticeable difference, since the limitation is the turbo, not the exhaust flow through the manifold.

I think he said that because you know you don't want to buy one anymore since it's not worth it.

Nope, but I don't think you need to buy a K04. I don't think anybody needs to buy a K04, for that matter. I think they were made for people who wanted to turn up the PSI on a K03 by 2-3 but still be safe. Why would you spend money on that? You will feel very little difference for the amount of money you spend.
