RE: Questions about Gpopshop's "K04"
Actually, your tip is going to be slaughtered by the K04 more than it would by, say, a GT28RS.
The K04 slams your tip with torque (which happens to be a limitation on the tiptronic transmissions) in the low-end RPM range, whereas the GT28RS will keep you in the safe zone by flooding you with horsepower for the mid/top range (depending on your trim and a/r)

Oh, well in that case your transmission will fall out of your car if you put a K04 in. Don't overload your tranny with that much torque, unless you want a turbocharger that's of even less use than the stock.
Seriously, you can get away with something like a GT2X elim series if you're worried about not being able to handle a "real" turbo.

Take it from Jaws, he had a K04 in his car. If you could go back in time and save your money for a more worthy upgrade, would you have?

And if I could do it all over again, I would have gone BT. The torque the K04 makes is just ridiculous! It's fun to just hammer it but within 1000RPM's it feels pretty much like stock. Not really worth it IMHO.
And yes, the reason tooextreme8813 didn't have problems was because he was making a lot of HP but not so much torque.

Yes. You will do just fine with a bigger turbo than you will with a K04, because of where the power bands are, and where an automatic has limitations. In this case, it's torque; and the K04 happens to be right in the torque+++ range.
