they have free lifetime upgrades but i think after a couple of months im going to get an 71r elim i don't want to get another chip from a different company does GIAC have software to support something like this?

 

I believe they offer a discount if you upgrade your software.

 

GIAC doesn't have a 2871elim file unless you know something I don't. You could upgrade to a k04 file for a discount if you have their chip already, but the aggressive k04 files are as far as they go.

I think the free upgrade thing is for if they update their file to a higher performance one, then they'll update yours for you.
