Default Radio removal key problem

Okay, I just got my radio removal key today to do a check up on my headunit. It worked like a charm, slide it in, locked, and pull the unit out. BUT! When I tried to install the HU back, the radio key just won't come out.. is there a specific tab or thing you need to do to release the radio key? Thanks for the info in advance!

PS. it's the Concert I headunit.

Actually I could NOT get the key out of the radio once I pull the HU out of the slot. The key's basically stuck there on the radio as of now and won't lock the HU in the slot (I can slide it in and out, with the key stuck on it). I don't think you "need" a key to put the radio back in, but I am certainly sure that you "need" a key to unlock and pull out the HU.

Try pushing in on the tab on the back side of the face, along the side of the HU. I just took mine out a few weeks ago to install an MP3 adapter. I had to push the tab while pulling on the key. You might have to wiggle it alittle while pulling it out.

Take the keys out before you put the radio back in. With the radio out, you should be able to reach the tabs that the keys catch on, just release them gently with a small screwdriver or your fingernail or something.

Oh come out, no one is gonna make a joke about that? I'm disapointed!
