Exclamation Rear Brake Caliper Mount Bolt Size

First off, thank you for allowing me to join this forum. I am very familiar with Volkswagen, and just recently made my first Audi purchase. I bought a 1999 a4 Quattro.

I love it, but already see similarities in the attention that VW and Audi's demand.

My first question to kick it off here, is simple; I am changing all of the brakes and rotors, and must figure out what size the Hex bolts are on the rear caliper mounting bracket to remove it and change out the rotors.

Anyone have any idea? My massive a4 Bentley doesn't indicate the size of the bolt so that I can go grab the correct Hex driver.

Thank you!

QFT. I have an extra set of bolts if you need them, I replaced all the original hardware when I did my front and rear brakes last year.

Default Thank you!

Thanks all! I went out and an 8mm fit good, I had to tap it in a little ways to get it to snug up, at first try, it felt loose, and 9mm was a hard to find item in my neck of the woods.

Always a good idea to tap those bits in anyway. If you strip a rear caliper allen bolt in the middle of a brake job with no replacement, you're gonna have a bad time. Ask me how I know
