I assume you mean you can't compress the piston on the calipers. They turn in while being compressed. Sometimes you can get away with pushing them in, but it's much easier to go to Autozone or something and rent a piston compressor for 55 bucks. You get your money back when you return the tool. Make sure you tell them you need the tool for the rear brakes that turn while compressing. They should know what you mean.
Also, make sure you remove the cap from the brake fluid resevoir to avoid damaging stuff with built up pressure, and put some rags around it in case a little fluid leaks out.
