Rear Deck Speakers

Rear Deck Speakers
I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their rear deck speakers while retaining their stock non-Bose radio. I have a pair of Alpine Type-S 6.5s (SPS-600) and I'm not sure if it would be worth the trouble to install them if there isn't gonna be any noticeable improvement in bass. The speakers I have in now are still good too. My other option is just to sell them.
How would you guys deal with saving the amp for the rear and mounting it somewhere when installing the new speakers?

I replaced my stockers, but installed an aftermarket amp to power them. Huge improvement. The amp I installed is also a 3 channel, so I have the option of installing a sub down the line. I'm not sure if you would notice much improvement by reusing the stock amp on the driver's speaker.

Would anyone advise setting up a four channel amp? I would have to install another line output converter for the rear. I don't mean a high end amp. Or a new head unit. I'm thinking a new head unit would be better. But I just don't like that the din is larger than the aftermarket head units. Makes it look cheap to me. I like how stock looks.
