reliablity

Default reliablity

I love audis but was just thinking the other day, out of the 2.8 and 1.8t which would you say is more reliable, or are they the same?

Neither is reliable, but the 2.8 has a better track record probably because it has fewer moving parts.

yea, i know buying an audi wouldnt be the best decision if it came to reliability. but ive been dying for one and there are a few for sale around here all at good prices so i was thinking of grabbing a summer car? I think its time

I guess both can be semi-reliable if the TB has been done...and you don't mind a few hundred dollars per year in random repairs.[>:]

yea, thats whats scaring me is the TB. Gas just hit over 4.35 today for premium. Not to excited about paying that price however

Mine scared me for a while, too. I had a one year / 12k mile warranty on the car, so when it went out I had the TB done. All went well...just got the car back last week.

Sure can be nerve-wracking sometimes, though.
