Default removing ac condenser fan

Hey my condenser fan took a crap on me today and I am trying to figure out if there is any easy way of removing this aside from pulling the bumper and radiator and condenser itself??? PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS!! The noise is loud and very embarrassing!!

Not very important, your A/C probably wont blow cold when your car is sitting there, and you should keep an eye on your coolant gauge when the car is sitting, especially if its hot where you are right now.

Well the mechanical fan should run all the time, but the electric one should not. Middle for the coolant gauge is operating temperature, thats where it should be.

yeah, the ac fan should only come on if the AC system has been used for atleast 10min in HOT weather, as the condenser reaches a certain temperature, the AC fan kicks on

As far as removing the fan, i dont think this may be possible without removing everything, but you can try either using a stubby phillips screwdriver or one of those tips for a multi tip screwdriver and use a 1/4" socket or use one of them "z" shaped phillips/flat head screw driver and see if you can remove the top little phillips screw. if that is removed, all you have to do now is twist the fan clockwise and it comes right off

P.S. I'm not sure if theres another small screw at the bottom part of teh fan, as mine has a broken tab in the bottom.....

So does anyone know why it would be running all the time?? is there a temp sensor that makes it come on?? bad relay?? and yeah there is a screw at the bottom so I'm gonna just have to pull the front end off, fun stuff being this is my first Audi and the first work I have ever done on one!! Gotta love German Engineering!!

Could be any of those causing it to stay on, coolant sensor if your coolant gauge always runs high, but it could be a stuck relay or a wiring problem.
