Default Right rear wheel bearing?

I'm getting an inconsistent squealing/screeching from the right rear. Sometimes pulling out in gear, touching the brakes, or just cruising. Does it more on left hand turns also. I'm guessing wheel bearing. I'm gonna check the wheel for play today, but I'm planning on a 300 mile trip tomorrow. If it is the bearing, will I need any special tools? I've done hubs but never just the wheel bearing itself, but have done other bearing/race replacements.

Screeching? Wheel bearing sound more like a hum. Similar to off road tires with aggressive tread patterns.

You may want to check your brake pad wear.

When my right wheel bearing went out, it was a constant drone. As if I had mudders on my car. That's what you should be hearing if they are in need of attention. I don't know about the squeal.

I second their response. I just replaced mine and it was a constant hum and was especially loud betwen 30 and 40 mph.
