SAD :( advice pleaseeee
Hey guys
I recently got my new ecstuning rear license plate frame went to go take off my license plate (which was only held on by 3 screws and a piece of duct tape) and the first screw comes out like nothing. The other two just KEEP SPINNING :0 so frustrating ... now the plate is loose, I don't know what I should do at this point it looks like sh*t.
Help! Thx

Take a knife or flat tip screw driver and stick it behind the plate right next to the screws, pry out firmly, don't try to rip the plate off. Turn the screws while prying out and they should come right out.
then run to auto zone and pick up some nice bolts
I also read that I will need some plastic clips or something like that? That hold the screws in place. And I was so pissed lol this plate had to have been on for years, previous owner was a dealer only kind of guy and let some things build up like the drain plugs by the battery. Thanks for the rust
Yeah mine had fairly large holes in the outer skin of the hatch, then there were little white plastic plugs that clipped into the holes, and the screws that held the plate on bit into the clips instead of the body work.
Thanks the help everyone, tried the advice on sticking a flathead behind the plate while turning and the first came out like butter, the second ripped out of the hole initially pissed then after contemplating getting a new mount I just CCA4'd my plate haha, it'll do for now until I stumble across one at the junkyard.
