Default scratch on the door

ok, so i drove my a4 to the car service to change the timing belt, and the next day when i got the car back i saw a key scratch all the way through the back side door.. you cant really see it from far away, but from up close its really noticable. is there a way to remove the scratch, because i dont want to repaint the whole door.

That sux... Try rubbing compound with a buffer. If you don't have access to a buffer they sell
cheap attachment for drills.

Yeah, if its not too noticable then you should be able to buff it out. If not you might try some touch up paint. That might make it more noticable if you dont do it right though.

Is nopq a spammer? Haha, anyway give Quixx scratch remover a try. Its worked well for me on some pretty deep scratches. Just make sure to follow instructions so you don't mess up your paint.

i have a bunch of small scratches on my front bumper and if ur just looking for a short term fix you can use turtle wax colored was just get the color of your car and it should conceal the scratch for about a month

Was it there when you dropped it off? They should have done a preliminary inspection to notify you of anything noticeably wrong with the car before you left. If they didn't do that get them to fix it for free! xD

oh man thats lame. I'd be so pissed if someone did that to my car. You could try polishing compound but you have to be VERY careful not to make swirl marks with it.

You can also try Quixx. It's sold at Wal-Mart and I hear it works real good.
