what are the benefits of seafoam? and where should i use it in my 2.8? oil gas or both

 

I've always used it in the gas and through the vac lines with good results. I haven't used it in the oil though.

 

vacuum hoses 1/2 bottle, gas tank full tank, crank case 1/2 bottle.

yes it is good. do it on a full tank on guess

oil change after 150-200 miles

 

There's a million thread on this topic, but the gist of it is it helps when used through the gas, vac line and oil, but nobody can agree on how safe it is to keep it in the crankcase for longer than a couple of minutes.

 

If you have the Turbo, I am not sure what kind of damage does to it when the engine is turnes Off and it sits there. Do some research on this.

 

Turbo or not doesn't make a difference, you'll have to be be out of boost when sucking the seafoam in and it comes in downstream of the turbo so no problem there.
