Not sure about common problems, you might try lurking a WRX forum for a week or two and check it out. I've never known anyone who has one well enough to talk to him about it. Also, you might get an insurance quote on a WRX, it will undoubtedly be higher than your A4. Good luck man!

wrx are cool, and if you get one and has a huge spoiler take it off it will look better IMO...

Yeah im definately staying AWD. I think im gonna try a wrx, they seem to have pretty good resales and Ive found a few of them for pretty cheap. Evo would be nice but alittle to pricey for fast ones, haha.

 

so I'm slightly confused, you want a new car but are looking at 02 WRXs??

assuming that you want a newer car I would say yeah look into a WRX, or since I also am oddly enough Nissan biased, get an older 300Z or a 240SX and have some RWD fun.


OR the other option which I'm actually considering doing if my parents don't get something that will suit my needs with there next car is sell the Audi and get something that can tow.

if you're getting a legit new car, then I'd seriously look at the Pontiac G8, I never though I would say it but that car is sexy and I want to go drive one and maybe get it one day.

 

yeah i meant new as in newer than 96 and new to me. Not brand spanking new. Ive had rwd before in my 84 mercedes, nothing to really burn rubber with, but i want AWD esspecially since im on my way out to Denver in the fall soo ill want awd in the mountains there too.

 

I feel ya bro, I'm 23 but still in college so you know how that goes. All the little money I have goes into my car, and drinking face to avoid the reality of cost of ownership lol

 

hah yeah i dont have paychecks anymore. I have audi repair money.

 

My first car was a 75 audi fox that I bought for 300-. I now own a 98 a4q30vm with sport pkg. etc. and an 03 nissan xterra. The nissan feels like a piece of junk to drive compared to the audi. I know repairs can be frustrating but I would at least consider buying something with some integrity like a bmw? 03 wrx at 18? man, i wish i had your car probs.
