service position diy

anyone know of a good diy on the service position. i've seen one around before but can't find it now. i have a hanes but diy's are usually better.

you're talking about putting the things on the radiator thing on service mode right? wat are you doing though, you might not need to do that. the tool is a vag tool so you to buy it off some where but i have no idea what it looks like lol

im trying to remove the serp belt to see if a whine is coming from steering pump or water pump. so i buy this tool? i thought i heard it comes out of the front of the car. anyone?

no you don't need it. i believe the belt can be removed with touching anything else. the belt tensioner is on the pasenger side of the engine block, you should see a square looking thing sticking out where you can put a wrench on it and turn right i think.
