Default setting ride height

So i bought a fancy set of new ksport coilovers and am setting the ride height very slowly. I will get three corners set pretty close and one out by 1/2 inch. then when i adjust it all corners will be out from each other. I lift the car up and adjust it with no car weight on it then go to next one until they match, until i get to the last then they all are out. Am i doing something wrong?? and how close should i get each one to each other?? bang on or 1/16?

If you measure from the bottom/start of the threads, then you should be fine. But front and rear will be different.

When you're setting your measurements, are you using a tape measure or eyeballing it or what? From what I've read, the most accurate way to do it is crank all four corners ALL the way up, then count the number of turns on each corner. Keep in mind that the suspension will settle each time you adjust it

I count threads. But it's hard to count threads when your coils are bottomed out on all four corners.

Let them settle after you adjust them too. Mine have settled up to a 1/4" before. If you're within a 1/4" all around, I'd say you're fine. 1/8" great! 1/16" **** YEAH!

I would always either count the threads, or use a permanent marker... bottom out the coil (the plate that the coil sits on actually), make a mark that goes from the plate to the shock and start raising the plate. count how many times the marks meet. Do the rears the same as eachother and make the fronts the same as eachother (the fronts and rears aren't going to be the same). Drop the car down, and measure from the ground to top of fender or the center of the wheel to top of fender. If it is lowered enough and balanced (front to rear), drive it around and re-measure.... then make some final adjustments accordingly. If it's not low enough or the front is too high / low / whatever, fix that before you waste your time with measuring. I have never had any issues with it being off by more than 1/8".
