so i went to start her last night and it was a no go the ignition switch went out and doesnt do ****!
it will start if you bump start it i had somewhere to be so i had to do it. but on the way home she made this horrrible screaching noise that came from the engine bay somewhere not sure where. so i shut her off and once again it wouldnt start its sad for me but i have no idea what could have happened any ideas?

your ignition went out. happened to me not long ago. and your lucky, since you could start it, that means it prolly didnt kill your starter. bad news, driving with your igniton bad is really hard on your starter good news, there is a recall on the part, so its free to fix.
and i just looked, my car is the exact same as yours, same engine, same year, i even haav the same amount of miles on my car. also that noise you heard was the same noisse i heard b4 it went out. after i got it fixed i never heard the sound again

 

The screeching is the starter not shutting off.. last I saw this the starter was bad.

 

yeah, because the ignition breaks off in the start position. and i wouldnt drve it much more, or it could also end up needing a flywheel replacement

 

i havent drivin it since then so how do i get that fixed for free?
