I wasn't planning on selling my car, but I have 2 offers for it.... one is very serious, will buy it tomorrow for $6k. The other is pretty serious but he still has some questions and is offering $6.5!!

I don't get it...... I am having a hard time deciding if it's the right time to sell. I bought it a year ago ($4500), put maybe $500 into it, it's nice that I can get $6k for it. I like the car a lot, but I want something bigger (most likely a Grand Cherokee)......... If I sell it, then I have to go through the whole search process.

I just don't know!

I found a 200 Grand Cherokee Laredo with 126k miles, cloth seats, sunroof, 4.7L auto with the quadra-drive.... I can get it for $5000. He said the brakes make a little noise and the rear locks aren't working right and are noisy when you try and lock/unlock the doors (I'm thinking actuators?). He just bought it a few months ago from a dealer, but has to move to be with his kids (I forget what state).

I am looking at 99+ Jeep Grand Cherokees... I like the Limited with the 4.7L 4x4, but I will settle for the Laredo with leather with the same engine.......... We'll see though, they are harder to come by then I originally thought (in the right condition / color combo / price range). There are a lot with the 4.0 I6, but I don't really want the I6.

 

That 4.0L I6 is a fantastic engine.
