So I made the mother of all heat sheilds
So I decided to make a better heat sheild than my old one. So I took some aluminium and away I went.
And it's not one,
not two,
But THREE air gap layers thick.

Now I just need some rubber for the top edge.
And the bent part is to hide my test pipe, for emissions tests. We'll see if that works.

Thats the one suggestion I had, you can buy this stuff at Home Depot for $20, self adehsive stove insulation. Thats what I used on mine, I remember I drove my car pretty hard one night, and I could really feel the difference.
