alright, i see what youre saying. i thought you meant that the stock fpr was adjustable thats where i got confused with 3 bar versus 4 bar.

so youre obviously running an aftermarket fpr to keep your base lower than 4 bar right? thats cool, it gives you the extra headroom as well to up the boost without worrying about the fuel pump falling behind
Yes, I run a SX adjustable FPR with a upgraded fuel rail and upgraded fuel feed line.

Picture of my car.

No one uses "inline" fuel pumps on the A4 since it doesn't do anything to add fuel since you are still limited by what fuel pump you have in the tank. So the better choice is to just upgrade the intank pump so that your only running 1 pump.

If the pump comment was true, there wouldnt be people making well over 400whp on stock pumps and either a walbro 255lph or bosch 044. There are even people making over 500whp with stock pumps with a bosch 044 or twin walbro or bosch's.

Who with an A4 is running a intank and inline? Have you tried running that setup yourself because I have and I saw no difference by adding a inline walbro to the walbro I had in the tank, this is why I ended up going with just the bosch 044 in the tank and am making around 600whp.

When running pumps in series you are still limited by how much 1 pump can run, it isn't like both pumps are supplying the fuel rail at the same time seeing that would be running them in parallel.

I am talking a stock tank with a inline pump. Running a 255lph walbro intank and inline will give you a little more than the 500hp rating, but not much. I am saying a stock pump with a inline will support what the inline pump will support, not the intank. I dont know who is running what when it comes to A4's, just saying your first post was incorrect.

A walbro intank alone will support 500whp, been done already. Adding a inline walbro to a stock pump is still going to be limited by how much the stock pump can flow unless there is something else feeding the inline pump with fuel from either the tank or the return line.

It is just easier to go with 1 pump, plus running 2 pumps just means there is twice the chance of a pump going out.

I agree about doing a intank if possible, but us transverse cars dont have that privalege. But you are still incorrect on the inline. It has been done time and time again. So if your statement was correct, there would be only people running running < 300whp on a stock pump, but since that isnt the case.....
