I was looking around and found that if the crank case breather hoses are clogged or cracked you will have a starting problem. I'll be checking for build up in my hoses and the entire system this weekend. Take a look at yours sounds like something simple to check. also have you changed both of your coolant temp sensors?

as far as i know there is only one coolant temp sensor.... but i just changed my crank shaft positioning sensor and that kinda helped a little bit so i guess next is the cam shaft positioning sensor. have you had any luck with this?

I have not changed the Cam shaft position sensor or the crank shaft position sensor. let me know if it works. the second coolant temp sensor is on the hose coming out the bottom drivers side of the radiator. I haven't got around to changing it yet.

Default Easy + Cheap possible fix

Here is something easy and quick to check for that may fix your A4.

Start from your Throttle body disconnect the intake tube top and bottom then pull the elbow duct off at the bottom of the inter-cooler and look for any oil that may have built up in there form leaky seals in the turbo. If you find some use carb cleaner and some rags and clean as much out as you can. Also disconnect the Tube coming out of the turbo and clean it. It seems to have made a difference for me.

Well it seemed to help but that was not the problem. I think it does have something to do with my intake though. I think I'm going to sell it super cheap or set it on fire.
