Default Spare engine cover clip?

Little request guys, you know the three clips that hold down the engine cover? (1.8 ltr engine). Well i dropped one while replacing a few vacuum pipes. Took the splash guard off and looked everywhere for it but no luck. Are spares available from anywhere? Maybe one of you guys would mail me one? I would donate some cash to charity as a thank you.

Just a quick update, Shokan don't sell spares, but they did direct me to my local Audi dealership. Hopefully i will be able to pick one up on my next weekday off, (Dealership is very close to where i live in Dublin, but very far from where i work in Wicklow and the service department doesn't open weekends for some ridiculous reason.)

LOL @ donate cash to charity...

Ireland huh? I love Ireland. Of course, I've only really seen it a few times from the airport in Shannon coming home from Iraq a few times. Even drank a huge draft there coming home from a 13 month deployment. Maybe that's why I love it so much...!

Off topic, I know, my bad... good luck with finding your part...

Why laugh at donating to charity, im hardly going to bank draft the generous donor 50c? The stamp would cost more, id rather throw €5 to a charity and everyone wins.

Ya shannon is very close to where I come from, Limerick. Gets a bad rep but its really a good city, few scumbags which im sure you could handle after Iraq. On a side note, seems to me that a lot of the users on this place are soldiers who have served in iraq. Whats the story?

Just thought it was humerous, but it is a good idea...

As far as Soldiers and this site, not sure why there's a trend, except we're usually poor, so we need all the help we can get to fix our cars...

When I bought my car, only one of the 3 clips was still in place. My local dealership didn't have any sitting around so as it is a minor (although annoying) thing, I just cable tied the other two holes so it is secure. I know that the local dealership could mostprobly order the clips for 10x their retail value, but I would feel a bit pedantic ordering just engine cover clips so a cable tie will suffice!

Poor indeed is this B5 owner.

I've saved a decent chunk of change with what i learned from this forum and my vag-com that i had no idea was, when i first heard the term. lmaoo!

I actually have all 3 plastic screws for my black 5V cover, surprised i haven't lost all of them or at least one or two.

Poor! haha, I just spent over $5,000 on a timing belt and clutch amongst other things!!
But the engine cover is purely for under bonnet aesthetics imo and would mostprobably run fine without it so cable ties for that I think are ok.
