Speedo not working!!!
 

Hi all, i have a 1997 1.8t Sport. iv just had the engine out for a rebuild, iv put it back in & the speedo & mileage counter has stoped working.
i have no faults in the ecu other then right front abs sensor.
iv checked the wireing & i have a pulse from sensor up to the block connecter on dash cluster. (Brown & Red wire) also checked the feed to ecu & i havnt got a pulse to that. pin 20 on ecu.
so theirs a break in the cluster.
But the clusters been checked & has came back all ok.
Please help.

i'd contact auditech79 for better help. i'd hardwire the feed to the yellow ignition post for direct power and see what happens

I think its the speedo cluster after. just cant see anything else.

You have a cluster of speedos, and they're not working?!
