Default Splash guard question????

I need a new splash guard (under engine cover) for my 2000 a4 Quattro 1.8t. Will the same years s4 model fit? Or any other year of a4? Or is it a specific piece? Please help. Also if u know a place to get 1 online other than eBay or somewhere in Northern CA I would appreciate it a lot

I've been told the splash guard is not needed.

Skid plate? Belly pan? 'Splash guard' is a new one for me. I don't run with one, but then again it can never hurt. Makes it easier to change the oil without one though.

You don't need one. They are very expensive, don't ask me why as it's just plastic. But expect to pay over $100 and then shipping which for something awkward and big will also hurt.

Look at a local junkyard for one and you won't pay more than $20. B5 S4 splash guard will fit I believe, and any other year B5 will fit as well, nothing newer.

Any B5 belly pan will fit, even from a Passat. Don't bother with new like some said, OEM is super expensive and aftermarket ones don't have any sound deadening and made out of cheaper plastic. Find a used OEM and clean it up.
