Splitter valve issues

2000 a4 manual, pretty much stock,installed the dv valve and did the clicks to apx 20. car keeps throwing a MAF code. it is setup in hybrid mode any suggestions on this? add more clicks? less clicks?

Play with it till it stops throwing the code. Go in the direction of more recirc.

IIRC Jason runs a splitter and on his 1.8 at 25ish clicks with no codes.
