Default Sport Suspension Sitting Higher After Full Control Arm Install

So, I recently installed a complete front control arm kit (w/ ball joints and sway bar end links) on my stock sport suspension and now I'm sitting pretty high. Before the install I had a 2 finger gap all around, but now I have 4 up front and still 2 in the back. Could something be wrong, or do I need to wait until it settles in?

Not going to settle. Something's really wrong. And after doing all of that I'm sure you got it aligned....what did they see?

I could buy that. Here's my 99.5, standard suspension with 225/45/17 tires. I don't believe the sport susp rides any higher or lower. It is 2 3/8 inches between the yellow lines.

Did you torque down the inner control arm bolts with the full weight on each wheel's suspension (spring compressed to normal ride height). If not, then the rubber bushings in the control arms are exerting a preload on the suspension and will soon tear.

Yes, we put a jack under both sides when everything was tightened down, also I believe there is over a three inch gap in my front suspension now.

So, today we took the wheels back off, loosened everything lowered it on jack stands. Then we raised the back to make it level, then jacked up under the spindles to simulate a FULL load on the front suspension and tightened everything back down. I have came to the conclusion that the old CA and other things were really wore out and this is height it's going to be. Any more suggestions?
Thanks

Same thing happened to me when I had my front end rebuilt.

I ended up switching to a sport suspension and that dropped the front end down to a reasonable level (no more negative rake.)
