Default Starter DIY for AEB

Can anyone tell me if there is a writeup for doing the starter on an AEB, I cant find one and have found a couple threads with people saying "remove two bolts and pull it out" and others that say you need to take the bumper and A/C compressor off...

I read on the clutch for 1.8t DIY it is easier to take front bumper off then yes it's 2 bolts.

from the clutch diy...
20. Remove starter, two 16mm bolts and one 6mm allen bolt. The wires can stay connected. This can be done one of two ways: The long and painful way, or the short and painful way.
- Long way: Remove bumper, remove A/C belt, remove A/C pump, remove starter.
- Short way: Attempt to get at 6mm allen bolt with an allen wrench by maneuvering your hand and arm through the A/C lines. When finally out (wait until you have to put it back in) remove the two starter bolts, slide the starter forward and attempt to lay it aside somehow.

Its really pretty easy, I wouldnt take the bumper off. The bolts that hold the starter to the bell housing are long and annoying tho. heres a link from a passat forum (same exact thing)
