So my car all the sudden has started to make a "squealing" sort of noise whenever i get about 5 pounds of boost. It is not a metallic type of screech or grind but i cannot figure out what it is or where its coming from. Like I said it just started happening today and I'm trying to stay below 5 psi whenever possible because its not a healthy noise, does anyone know what it could be?

 

Leak? Or turbo bearings going..

 

^ What he said. Though leaks usually aren't that loud. I'm guessing your turbo is on its way out.

Ahhhhh thats what i was afraid of but was praying it could be something else. Just checked for leaks the other day and fixed them just to cross that off the list.
