direct swap. will need to use the tranny mount off the passenger side of your 5 spd and the clutch/flywheel from your current engine. as far as the 2.7t 6 spd swap its possible. must change the axles, rear diff, k member as well as engine and trans of course. also need to rewire abs and the cluster/ecu

is there any advantage to doing a 6 spd swap? and no its not possible to simply switch it out but its possible. if your gunna do an engine and tranny swap you would probably save a hugh headache and some money if u just buy an s4.
