Default t3/t4

So i was just looking at turbos. I saw the t3/t4's and their pretty cheap. The one i was looking into getting was the t3/t04e. First of all im pretty sure that means its t3 flanged with the t4 housing. What is the 0 and the e mean? Also i realize ill have to do a custom intake. Obviously the exhaust. What about a wastegate? I read the in the upgrade thread that the tial 38mm is good. Is there anything i need to know more specifically about this when i go to buy one? Obviously ill need new oil lines but will all the stock lines fit directly onto the turbo or will i have to delete some of them? My biggest concern though is tuning. I dont want to go too much over 300 hp right now until i can get up the money to do rods. Where can i get tuning and what will it cost me?

t3/t04e: i T04e is better then T04b from what ive read, the t04e part is a designation for the compressor housing and wheel. just remember they are cheaper because they are journal bearing turbos and are only oil cooled. a garett would be both water and oil cooled and uses ball bearings which spool a little faster. so you will have to delete your stock turbo water lines if you went with a t3/t4.

Alright, thats something i wanted more information about. I dont mind the journal bearings considering they will be slower on the spool and easier on the engine. Deleting the turbo coolant lines wont be a problem, or shouldnt be i dont think.

lawl... a gt45r... That turbo itself would cost more than a complete t3/t4 setup... and thats not the greatest street turbo either lol

No way a 45r could be a sleeper and properly mounted & pieced. Wouldn't even get full potential sitting in the engine bay.
