i just installed my test pipe and every thing is fine for the first day.today i started my car and as i was driving the retard lite came on, i pulled over and hade the code read it was o2 bank after the cat i erased the code and it came back again is there a fix for this because i was reading in diy and it doesnt explain how to bypass it

 

The fix is to use a catalytic converter.

 

I agree with dragon, even I have a race cat in my downpipe. But you can get away with anti-foulers. They jus space the o2 out of the tp a lil. Unplug the wire completely when taking it out or putting it in so you don't twist the wire up.

 

anti-foulers = YMMV. The "anti-foulers," unfortunately, do not take the foul odor away from an exhaust running without a cat.

 

theres a garage down the street from me. he was telling me how theres like a little module that you splice into the o2 sensor wires between the sensor and the connection somewhere that runs off a 9 volt battery and it fools the car into seeing the right amount of voltage change. you could look into that. i don't know what you would call it.

 

Or you could just spend a few bucks and get the anti-foulers...They are like under 10 bucks

 

if you ever get chipped they have a program for test pipes...
