tint

removed my tint on my front 2 a little while ago, after getting a ticket, but it left some glue on the glass. getting retinted tomorrow and dont want the guy to charge me for removing the tiny bit of glue thats left. what should i use to remove that? just like a carb cleaner or something?

I'd try either goo gone or a sh!t ton of windex

RE: tint

Use windex and a razor blade. I did that on my old Mustang and it worked Fantastic.

I bet goo gone and a razor is you best bet. And that would be a d!ck move if the guy charged you for removing a little glue.

amonia mixed with water....just cover all your interior parts. that crap will eat it right off. i had tint all the way down my front windshield for like 2 months then i got pulled over so i had to remove it. i sprayed some of that crap on it let it and let it sit in the sun while i was at work. tint just fell off, no glue left behind.

a few drops of ammonia mixed in water or even wd-40 both work well. autoparts stores carry a few solvents that eat right through glue, but either of those two i listed you can probly find around the house. just remember to use warm water and a razor blade helps

RE: tint

i parked in the sun at work and around noon i soaked on the wd-40. it did a decent job just left a little bit cuz i only worked on it for maybe 10 mins but when i got to the tint place, he sprayed a mixture of warm water and something else on it and it came off in like 10 seconds with a razor.
