Touch up paint
 

I have a few stone clips and a scratch on my 98 a4 and I was wondering where I can find touch up paint for it? My color is Melange Metallic.

you can get touch up paint from the dealership, but expect to pay a ridiculous amount for what you get.

That sucks... i hope there is another way.

Back home there was an auto body paint supplier, can't recall the name at the moment, but they use OEM paint codes to custom mix batches of paint for you. You might look around for someplace like that near you?

i got two cans of touch up paint one clear and one color matching and it was like 30+ dollars

How difficult is touch up paint? Is it going to look bad if I just touch up some scratches? I've also got a spot of surface rust on the trunk, and DIYing that would be cool.

what is the specific color for Pearl white?
Candy white?

Autozone has the stuff but I have no idea if they've got your color.

Pearl white is Magnolia pearl tri-coat (usually referred to as White Pearl Tri-coat) color code is L0B9/D4
