Default Transform your Audi, with G.I.A.C. Software and AWE Tuning performance components.

G.I.A.C. Software and AWE Tuning have a long history of performance for your Audi. With past products like the 370hp AWE Tuning K04 kit which put an ordinary Mk6 GTI into the 11s in the quarter mile, the AWE Tuning RSK04 kit that helped to make the B5 S4 a performance icon, and 750hp 911 Turbos that retain stock drivability, big performance can be expected with G.I.A.C. Software and AWE Tuning performance components. See how AWE Tuning and G.I.A.C. Software can get your car on the right path, right here.

I have the Giac PC16 but I am curious if they have tuning solutions for larger turbos like any of the T3 line or say a GT2876, etc?

I do have a question about the PC16 upgrade; my car at times will go from boosting 16psi to 7psi. I can not find a reason for this as of yet but it happens then later goes back to running like it should. It seems like it is going into safe mode but the weird thing is the performance is identical to the car running 16psi but only running part throttle. Is this normal or a simply explanation?

G.I.A.C. does not support anything larger than a K04 on the B5 1.8Ts.

In terms of the boost issue, it could be that the boost line to your wastegate may have a tear in it or you could also have a bad N75 valve. Those are the two things that jump out at me. Feel free to PM if those aren't the cause.

Will I actually have 2 considerably larger K04 turbos from the Mazda 2.3 liter DISI motors. I am actually going to build me an adpater so they will bolt on (both are identical except the compressors are of different sizes). Do you think the Giac PC16 tune will be able to "safely" handle either of them?

The specs are as follows:

K04 552:

Compressor 42.4mm inducer and 60mm exducer

K04 882 46.4mm inducer and 60mm exducer

Both use the same sized turbine which is 45mm exducer and 50mm inducer. Compared to the K04 015 these are considerably larger and should give the 1.8t a noticeable performance bump while still maintaining stockish response and spool.

Thanks

No because the PC16 tune wasn't designed for a turbo with that much flow. You might as well be looking for a GT28R or GT28RS tune which GIAC has done in the past.
