Default Trouble Starting but No Codes

Recently did a 60k mile service. SPark plugs replaced with proper gap. the car (On occasion) will kick when i try and start it, but it won't turn. ill try a second time and it will kick but not turn. BUT, if i give it a little gas it starts with no problem.

this happens once and a while. probably 2-3 times a week when using it daily. other than that, the car usually starts with no problem. we did a code check and nothing came up. cleared the codes and check again and still nothing.

any ideas?

Edit: Turn=Start

Coolant temp sensor is my bet... It doesnt always throw a code when its going bad... If it thinks your coolant is a different temperature than it actually is it will dump too much or too little gas.. You can try cleaning the contacts at the connector for a start, but it would be a good idea to just replace it.

replaced it, still won't start unless i press on the gas. doesn't happen always but it is noticable when it does. happens when i least expect it. i am running an old battery? maybe that's it? i

EDIT: it ran the code for the coolant temp sensor, and i replaced it but no change.

a bad coolant temp sensor and the no start when cold is almost a universal problem among all computer controlled engines but remember there are almost always two sensors. your looking for the one that goes to the ecu. it will make the engine run lean or rich and can ruin the plugs if let go to long. once you foul ngk's even once, throw them out.

i already replaced the coolant temp sensor. if there are two...im not sure which one i replaced then. im pretty sure the one that was replaced sits by the MAF kinda in front of the battery
