You need to scan the computer and get the codes - first step in any diagnostic like this.

Yeah we can't offer much in the way of helpful advice with no codes. Also, see the quote in my sig...

when i found out there were virtually no parts to make the 2.8 go fast (without that $3000 supercharger) i almost lost it... that is all i wanted to do to it was make it fast and sound awesome... and i have came to terms that it will never be really fast. but its still pretty fast i guess

That's the passenger side cam sensor (which is the easy one to change). Not sure about the processor fault. First thing to do is clear the codes and see if they come back. If not, they were glitches or transient faults. If they come back, they'll have to be dealt with.

I'm all for mods, trust me. I mean, I bought a set of wheels before I even bought replacement parts to get my car running again. But you really need to make sure you know your priorities. I'm not trying to get on your case, just dropping some advice off. You sound like you're more anxious to get the exhaust on the car than you are about getting the car running right and running well. Trust me man, spend the extra time, the extra cash and the extra Blood Sweat and Tears to get that baby perfect. Otherwise you'll be back under the hood. These cars are german, they expect the best.

But when you do get that work done, go slap that exhaust on a post up some vids!
