Okay so three days ago ive went and brought a 96 laser red Audi a4 2.8 Q. okay im pretty decent when it comes to working on cars. i just need to get point in the right direction before i go and spend lots of money. My first issue the 1n1 code is coming on. thats the power steering code ive figured that much out, and i was leaking power steering fluid but now im not and my call still has a lil whining noise. so what to do? (ikr) second issue my rear driver pass window wont go down but the switch still lights up on the door and when i press the master control switch on the driver door it turns the light off and on.
so what do i do to get it to work? and im missing my driver key lock for the driver door where can i find that at? also can someone tell me if i have a sport package suspinsion or not....and is the all blk grill with out the audi rings common for my model? cus i have no rings on the front of mine any help would be apprecaited or even a phone number to pick some of you guys heads to get my audi in order .....thanks in advance

When the driver operates any of the windows, the switch on that door is disabled so the annoying kid who's sitting there can't keep the driver from rolling the window up . If you still have good power to the switch but the window isn't moving, my guess would be the window motor. Take the door apart and test the motor.

The sport package comes with beefier sway bars, red bilstein sport dampers and stiffer springs. There's a noticeable difference in ride height between that and the non-stock suspension. First look at the shocks, if you can't tell, take a picture and post it up, we should be able to identify it for you.

The grille you described isn't OEM. All OEM grilles, sport suspension or otherwise, facelift and pre-facelift, all have rings and chrome trim.

It will be good for you and the rest of us to set up your signature in the User CP. Include any relevant info about your car: year, engine, mods, a picture.

thanks guys, and on the power steering leak it leaks when it wants to. side note the strut/spring i changed that out today.
