turbo help limp mode?
so i just installed a used turbo in my car
runs like a dream now since my old one had a broke wastegate 0psi. this new used one went to about 10psi but its smoking like a forest fire there was oil in the housing which i cleaned up since his motor went out so i thought it was from the motor not the turbo i cleaned it best as i could but its definetly smoking and it wasnt before so should i leave it see if maybe it was just the oil i missed in the housing or is that too much to be residue...also sounds mean now but it also sounds like i have a blow off valve which i dont. i havent installed the lower part of the air box because i wanted to try it out before i installed everything back up could that be it? also at about 4k rpm my rpms keep climbing but i dont advance again didnt do that before is this the infamous limp mode and could it be because of the blow off valve sound again air filter or could it be my clutch got fried in one run lol also last thing i kepp breaking fan clutch blades plastic last time it punched a hole in my radiator this time i got lucky is this common or is it just me also is there a metal one i can purchase?

If your intake is missing, then your venting your dv. Not good, so put that all right asap. Does your turbo shaft wiggle at all? Also, your fan shouldnt be breaking. Either somethings kitting it, or its installed wrong
ok il install the intake and as for the fan its not hitting anything the bearing is good its not a wobbler and this is the third time but they last a long time its been a few months since last time
no it blows towards the motor...by chance would you know what controls the boost psi my psi rocket to like just abit past 10 before going to limp mode.. checked all my hoses everything is hooked up right to the best of my knowledge...and keeps smoking i think the seals are bad

car ran really good besides backward dv boosted to 8 psi was out for a drive and while having some fun i noticed the psi dropped from 8 to 5psi and now it wont go past it checked for vaccum leak but came out good wtf i was so happy now maybe the waste gate came loose since i swapped it
