Default Turbo Manifold

I've been searching, but I can't understand why you would want to buy a Turbo Manifold upgrade such as the t28. Is this the same as a header? Sorry but I still come from a chevy background.

A high flow mani is just that, higher flow. A t28 isn't flanged for a ko3 or ko4 tho. A header is also known as a tube manifold (individual runners)

Header = NA car
Exhaust Manifold = Turbo car

Headers are made of thin wall exhaust pipe, exhaust manifolds are either cast log design and the tube designs are made of a thick wall material.

Ok but the concept is the same sort of minus the fact the the turbo is hooked up to the exhuast, that's what I was primarily trying to understand.
