I installed a new turbo, but can't seem to find the location on the turbo where the steel (U shape profile) support bracket (connecting the turbo with the engine block) goes.

I may also be that the center section I used did NOT have the threaded hole for the bracket mounting bolt.

While I consider the exhaust flange with its large, long bolts as sturdy enough to support the turbo: can I leave the bracket off?
