Default two hoses are smash after car bottom out!

I had an audiforums.com acct before since 04', sn: audi1.8tq and i forgot the darn password and email it's registered too....but anyways..can u help me?

Well...earlier today i was driving down PCH in southern california and there were some metal plates on the road. I drove over the first metal plate just fine but the second one...the bottom of my 99.5 audi 1.8t quattro smack rite into it and once i got home...i took a look underneath the car and theres 2 hoses attach to a metal connecting piece that are destroyed, rite under the turbo side of the engine...i heard a pressure sound, like air was leaking...

Whats the function of those hoses, how much to replaces them and where can i get them?

THANKS!

Can you post pics? Do they connect under the radiator to the pipe attached to the frame which goes to the intercooler?

Sounds like the AC condenser hoses. See if your AC works, and if it doesnt, there you go! Probably a dealer item only. You might even need a whole new condensor, Idk if the hoses are detatchable. Considering the circumstances you might be able to make an insurance claim.

Chaos/onepoint those are the hoses!...so its a AC condensor hose?...

Can i still drive the car with the part leaking or not working?...like plug it in and dont use the ac because i dont really need AC during fall/winter...dumb question but i just dont have the money to replace it right now and i need to get to work!
