Default Two random questions

First: I have a boost gauge installed in the vent on the driver's side closest to the door. Its been hot as ***** here so I've been running my AC a lot lately, and the cold air is causing condensation on both the inside and outside of the gauge. Would blocking that vent off from behind hurt the heat/AC, apart from not being able to defrost my window?

Second: (Avant specific) At some point I managed to open my hatch far enough to put two nice dents in the top bit from the bike racks. I set them up so that by letting the hatch open on its own, they won't hit it, but I must have pushed up on it or some ****. B5 RS4 Avant spoilers are almost impossible to find, and when you do they're retardedly expensive. However, ECS has the B6 avant spoiler on sale for like $40. Would it be worth buying one to see if it fits? Would that even cover up the dents I made? Would pics help? Should I stop asking questions?

First of all, stfu noob.

I don't see why blocking that vent would hurt anything, it'd just blow cold/hot onto whatever is blocking it, maybe recirculate the air somewhere else. Doesn't seem like a big deal.

That spoiler? You have to drill into the glass to mount it, from what I've heard. It's probably worth buying and playing around with it, you could always sell it if it doesn't work out.

Probably just different enough to **** you off. I have no idea what the difference in dimension between the two are but I do know the B6 was a little bigger.

I'd worry more about the curvature of the glass. But as stated, it's cheap enough and shouldn't be that hard to resell. I'm all about spending your money - go for it!

Will do man, and I don't blame ya. I think with a little bit of patience and a heat gun I should be able to make it fit.

I agree with Nick.

Search next time noob.

And yeah, there shouldn't be any problem closing that particular AC vent. If anything, you'll get more air/hit from the other vents.
