So i have heard it a few times, that it is possible Unitronics is working on taking the VVT in our cars used for emissions and changing it to work for performance. I am personally stoked at the idea, but do you guys think we could really get much power out of it? i mean the stock turbo is worthless past 5.5k ish RPM.

 

I have told you 3 times now that it was brought up by a rep and nothing has been mentioned since. And no, it is NOTHING like vtec. All it is rumored to do is aid in spooling up BT's.

 

I kind of wish I new what vvt was. Is it like variable timing or somehing supposed to be like vtec lol.

yes they do but its for emissions. It changes while your engine is cold and the choke is on.

The choke? we driving carbs now? The AWM in the 01+ have vvt, the AEB and ATW dont. It also comes with a wbo2. Yes it would be cool, but who knows when that would be.

lol got me goin there for a sec. haha ya, good chance never gets put into play, but its nice to imagine like 250+ hp of the k03. but again, just imagine. because thats what marijuana does!
