ouTTie914 was having problems with that code and her epc light. think she switched from an n75 to a mbc and hasn't had problems since
installed a mbc just now, will see if that helps rid of the EPC.
I think i do have a vacum/boost leak, sits at 16 for vacum, and now i hear a constant hissing sound coming from the back of the engine near the firewall. goin to try a different method of connecting my boost tester to it. instead of the tip, im goin to use the pipe off the cold side of the intercooler to the tb. also goin to try a different spring/washer in the 004.

somethinng else i do and always recommend, if all else fails, take it to the dealer, pay them 60 bucks to find the issue and fix it yourself
i have saved hundreds doing that

Another thing to try is connecting the 004 direct to manifold pressure, that is to say bypass the pressure tank that controls the valve (if your car has one that is...). I've heard of the solenoids going bad and causing the valve to behave oddly.
Glad the MBC fixed your P1335! As for the hissing check the connections to your boost gauge.
Had the same problem, turns out a simple zip tie was all it took (this would also explain your gauge's incorrect readings).
Sure I could search but... What N75 does your car use?
Haven't heard of this fault in any other car except the TT.
Good luck with the running rich!
