Updating factory audio

I have a few factory audio related questions... got the Concert system:

Bose speakers:
Am I right in assuming cars with Bose speakers all have the Bose logo on the lower front door speakers? If not, how can I tell what I have other than by opening it up. What's a good place to pickup replacement speakers for the small tweeters by the door pull?

iPod adapter:
ECS tuning offers an 'iPod Wiring Adapter ES#251288' - anyone had experience with this? How was the install? Do you have to use the CD changer output for the iPod adapter? Anyone used the cheaper eBay versions with success?

Subwoofer:
I want a little more low-end, but don't want a bunch of additional wiring/install work. Has anyone installed a woofer like one of the following? Can I simply tap into one of the rear speakers?

Thanks guys!

Hey TeeterTawter - Thanks for your feedback... 2 questions...

Can I tap into the wiring in the rear deck or do I have to run something up to the front?

Do you have the bose speakers in your car? According to crutchfield that's required???
